Technology

Wilson A2000 Spin Control baseball gloves are constructed from a combination of Pro Stock Leather and SuperSkin microfiber material. Most models in this lineup are made exclusively from Pro Stock leather. This leather offers a great feel and outstanding durability. The 1975 model features the outside of the glove made from SuperSkin. SuperSkin is half the weight of Pro Stock leather but also twice as durable. This microfiber is moisture-resistant to extend the life of your baseball glove and it is easier to clean than traditional. Just wipe it down and your glove looks new again.

Wilson then adds Spin Control Technology to the leather in the palm and web of the A2000 baseball gloves. Spin Control is a dimpled pattern inside the glove that increases friction when the ball contacts the glove. By reducing the spin rate as soon as contact is made, the ball becomes easier to transfer to your hand so you can make throws quicker and easier with less worry about bobbling the ball on the transfer.

These baseball gloves include Wilson’s ComfortPro Fit. The liner of each glove is made from ProLux leather for a richer, softer feel on your hand. It is then finished off with the Comfort Sleeve that conceals the binding in the wrist for an even more comfortable fit against your skin. The wrist also features a Dri-Lex lining that dries sweat quickly to keep your hand cool and dry.

Who It’s For

There is a Wilson A2000 Spin Control baseball glove for every player. For infielders, there are two A2000 Spin Control options: the 1786 model and the 1975 model. If you are an outfielder, you want the A2000 OT7 option. Wilson did not exclude those specialized positions either. They make the A2000 Spin Control baseball gloves in the 1620 model for first basemen and the M1D catcher’s mitt.
