The Easton Encore Hybrid BBCOR bat starts with their CompCore Technology barrel. To create the CompCore barrel, the ringless R5 alloy of the Encore Hybrid is thinned out by approximately 30% and then reinforced with Thermo Composite Technology across the length of the hitting area. This creates an ultra-thin barrel wall, a bigger sweet spot, and maximum “trampoline effect” upon contact. That thinner alloy also delivers a truly unique sound profile that is both bright and powerful when you hit the ball.
Moving down the bat, Easton uses its PureLynx CXN join to connect this two-piece bat. The PureLynk CXN connects the handle directly to the barrel, maximizing stiffness, energy transfer, and power at contact.
The Pro-Stiff carbon handle made with extra stiff carbon fibers gives hitters the solid feel they love. They also included Soft Knob Technology to provide more leverage and power potential while reducing vibration.
