R5 alloy is a lightweight, high-performing material that provides a high barrel response rate and great durability. They also use a ringless barrel design with Easton’s FlyWall Barrel Design. FlyWall utilizes different layers of alloy across the barrel to create an even bigger sweet spot and smoother feel while keeping the swingweight lighter than in comparable baseball bats.
Below the barrel in this one-piece baseball bat, Easton utilizes their Power Boost Soft Knob Technology. Soft Knob Technology provides hitters more leverage and power potential while reducing vibration and improving comfort for the bottom hand for a better feeling bat at impact.
